Herbed Apple Gravy

herbed apple gravy

This gravy is perfect over any meat, such as roasted chicken or seared ‘chops.

Makes about 8 servings

1 pkg. turkey gravy mix

2 1/4 c. apple juice

2 tbsp. Chinese 5 Spiced Apple Butter

1 sprig of fresh rosemary

2 tbsp. fresh thyme, leaves removed from stems

Kosher salt & cracked black pepper, to taste

1. In a medium saucepan, blend dry gravy mix into apple juice using a whisk.

2. Add thyme and rosemary and bring mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally.

3. Reduce heat and simmer for an additional minute.

4. Remove rosemary sprig and enjoy.
