5-Ingredient Popovers
5-Ingredient Popovers
Popovers are the easiest things to make and the easiest things to eat. Throw a batch in the oven, slather on some butter and flaky sea salt and top with any of our jams. Yup, you’re welcome.

2 large eggs, room temp
1 cup whole milk, room temp
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Any Trade Street Jam, to serve
1. Position a rack in the lower third of the oven; preheat to 450°. Grease a standard popover pan.
2. Mix the eggs, milk, flour, butter and salt (we added a bit of cinnamon here) until just combined.
3. Pour about 1/3 cup of the batter into each prepared cup (filling about halfway). Bake for 20 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to 350°. Bake until puffed, golden and crisp, 15 to 20 minutes. Using a small, sharp knife, carefully cut around the sides of each popover to release.
4. Serve warm with butter and jam.
