PB&J Oatmeal Bowl

PB&J Oatmeal Bowl

Here, we kicked your traditional bowl o' oats up a notch by adding our spicy strawberry jam and a spoonful of creamy peanut butter. You're welcome.

Makes 1 bowl

 

1/2 cup almond milk
1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tbsp. Strawberry Chipotle & Fig Jam, plus more for serving
2 tbsp. Peanut Butter & Co. Simply Smooth, plus more for serving
Chocolate chips, nuts, seeds (flax, chia and/or sesame), coconut flakes, bananas & strawberries for topping)


1. In a medium saucepan over high heat, bring almond milk to a boil.

2. Stir in oats, reduce heat to low, and simmer until oats are tender and creamy, about 5 minutes.

3. Stir in jam and peanut butter and let warm, 1 minute. 

4. Meanwhile, slice bananas. Toss slices in a mixture of seeds. Serve warm oatmeal in a bowl topped with remaining jam, peanut butter, and assorted toppings.
