Set the mood with a fruity and festive drink. Just like the holidays, this one brings the cheeriness with a heated blend of orange and cranberry juice. The rich redness and spiced flavors deepen with the addition of our Blackberry Mulled Merlot Jam. Once it cools, add fruit and fizz to top off this drink and let it tickle the tongue.

1 jar Blackberry Mulled Merlot Jam
2 1/2 cups cranberry juice
1 1/4 cups orange juice
1 bottle sparkling apple cider
1 cup club soda
3/4 cup vodka or white rum
Orange slices, fresh cranberries, rosemary sprigs and star anise to garnish
1. In a large stock pot or saucepan, add the jam, cranberry juice and orange juice and bring to a low simmer over medium heat. Stir to incorporate and simmer for 3-5 minutes, ensuring the mixture never comes to a boil.
2. Pour the hot liquid through a fine mesh strainer and discard any solids. Chill until the mixture has cooled completely.
3. To serve, pour the cranberry orange mixture along with the club soda and vodka or white rum over ice into a large punch bowl or pitcher. Add slices of orange, fresh cranberries, sprigs of rosemary and star anise to garnish and serve with a ladle.
