Giving all the warm and toasty feels, this Uptown Toddy is just what you need to knock the chill (and stress) off after a day full of holiday shopping.

For the drink:
1 tbsp. Blackberry Mulled Merlot Jam
1/4 oz. honey ginger syrup (see below)
1/2 oz. fresh lemon
1 oz. dark rum (We suggest Plantation Overproof Rum.)
3 oz. hot black tea
Garnish: Cinnamon stick
For the syrup:
1. Combine 1 cup honey, 1/4 cup fresh ginger slices, and 1 cup water in a saucepan over high. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off heat and let steep until cool. Strain out ginger pieces. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Will keep for 2-3 weeks.
