Indian Summer Cocktail

Spicy, smoky, sweet. An ode to summer.

Makes 1

 

2 heavy tbsp. Smoked Yellow Peach Jam
2 oz. mezcal
3/4 oz. hot honey syrup (recipe below)
3/4 oz. Cointreau
1 lime, juiced and zested
Lime slices, to garnish

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until outside is frosty. Strain into a rocks glass with ice cubes. Top with lime slices and lime zest.

For the hot honey syrup:
1/4 c. Mike's Hot Honey
1/4 c. hot water
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Shake honey and water together in a bottle or mason jar. Store in the refrigerator.
